Repeat Prescriptions:
If you are taking long-term regular medication you may request a repeat prescription by writing and the tear off portion of your previous prescription and hand it to the reception at least 48 hours in advance. We will forward your repeat prescription to you. Please ensure that you supply us with your name, address, and date of birth. If you are unable to get to surgery due to a disability or are housebound you may contact your local chemist for this service.
In any of the above circumstances, please allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope). If you require an urgent prescription please make this clear to the receptionist. You may be asked to see the doctor from time to time depending on your medical condition. We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored every 12 months. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
Remember, keep your medicines in a secure locked place out of reach of small children, read the instructions given to you by the doctor or the pharmacist and use the suggested dose, watch expiry dates and don't keep or use medicines past their sell-by-date and take all unwanted and out-of-date medicines back to the pharmacy for appropriate safe disposal.
You can also request your repeat prescriptions by E-Mailing us with your name, date of birth, address and medication required at:-
